Product details

Properties: white fine acicular or oblique columnar crystals. Odorless, bitter taste, easily weathered in dry air. Specific gravity 1.68, easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and glycerol, soluble in its own crystalline water at 67.5 degrees Celsius. When decomposed by heat, molecular crystalline water is lost at 70 and 80 degrees Celsius, and all crystalline water is lost at about 200 degrees Celsius to become anhydrous.

Application: Mainly used in the manufacturing of fertilizer, leather, printing and dyeing, catalyst, paper making, plastics, porcelain, pigments, matches, explosives and fireproof materials. Can also be used for printing and dyeing fine and thin cotton fabrics, as weighting agent for cotton and silk, and filler for kapok products filler; Used medically as a laxative.

Storage and transportation: Store in a cool and dry place, protected from sunlight, rain, and moisture.
